Hi Everybody, hope that you are all keeping well.

Here is the ninth monthly release for 2023, from ’Katmandino’.

This is the single release for September 2023.

“Satellite” is a celebration (in the key of ‘G’) on the benefits and dangers of ‘space hardware’.

They are essential to modern life (e.g. GPS, TV, global communications, etc). However, when their operational life is over, they are merely ‘space junk’, ready to come crashing down to Earth sooner or later.

The song also has a double meaning and also refers to those things, people, emotional baggage, etc. that we keep floating around in our own personal orbits.

Some are beneficial, some are, indeed, toxic; and sometimes, decisions have to be made, to either continue that symbiotic relationship or jettison it into outer space.

Hope that you enjoy the song, as much as we did recording it.
